Our “In Conversation With” Masterclass was a prime example of the power and talent of women in the music industry and every segment was filled with inspiring moments.
On Sunday, scores of songwriters and producers turned out for our EQUAL “In Conversation With” Masterclass at @southbankcentre to learn from three of the UK’s top women songwriters in the UK – Carla Marie Kamille & Jin Jin. These hitmakers left our entire audience enthralled by their inspiring journey in music, sharing exclusive insights into their unique stories, leaving our audience with some of their best tips from their experience working with stars like Beyonce , Sean Paul Raye, Jess Glynne Little Mix and more.
Our hitmaker panelists were supported by hosts C Cane, Manny Norté and DJ Jess Bee Official who both kept our audience engaged and completely engrossed all evening, making it an unforgettable experience.
We also revealed our future hitmaker competition winner – beat composer/producer Seyi who took home our award along with prizes from Audio-Technica, Novation, Fl Studio & Benefit & free studio time from Spotify. Upon receiving the award, she will get support from us and PRS foundation.
Many of our future hitmaker award applicants joined our founder Carla Marie on stage for a freestyle segment.
In all, our masterclass was a major success and we’re very grateful for the support we got.
