GIRLS I RATE AND FOUNDER CARLA MARIE PARTNERS WITH SPOTIFY EQUAL 

Our founder CARLA MARIE was selected as a songwriter ambassador for Spotify EQUAL in celebration and acknowledgement of her incredible lifelong career achievements as a multi award winning songwriter and award winning campaigner for womxn in music.

  Our partnership with @spotifyuk is a game-changer for our movement, and we couldn’t be prouder to join forces with a platform that shares our passion for amplifying voices and championing creativity.

  Women are still underpresented in music and so we will take every opportunity to promote equality and support for women in music

This partnership resulted in us creating these opportunities for many talented emerging women artists. Our activations with EQUAL this year included our Future Hitmaker  songwriting camp, we hosted at Spotify studios, our  “In Conversation With” masterclass featuring hitmaker songwriters Carla Marie, Kamille & Jin Jin.

 Not to mention our very first own curated   “Created By Women” Spotify playlist – songs carefully selected by our “In conversation With” panelists.

   All these selected songs were written and created by womxn. The “Created By Women” playlist has attracted over 62,000 likes on Spotify and was featured on Leicester Square billboard!! 

 Thanks to Spotify EQUAL, we’ve been able to amplify the voices of many womxn talent in th industry. And these activations are just teasers of  more exciting collaborations to come.
