AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Engage, empower and develop the future generation of females.
Expand knowledge and understanding of the music industry and entertainment business.
Equip females with fundamental practices, techniques and key skills required.
Build self esteem, confidence and collaboration between females.
Implement high quality learning standards and professional support.
Create exposure and work opportunities, including internship and work experience.
WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
We believe there is a need for more female focused development and recognition. With PRS female members only making up 16% of the membership, it demonstrates a need to cultivate and empower the future generation of female creatives.
We also feel that female-only workshops are important in building self-esteem, confidence and collaboration between females.
The academy gives attendees a great two day experience, as well as opening them up to a new network of peers and opportunity, which will in turn create change in the contribution of females in the creative industries.
